This is a Part-time position reporting to the Executive Director of Greenwood Court in Stratford, the Registered Nurse with Extended Class: RN(EC) privileges (Herein referred to as the Nurse Practitioner (NP), is a management position with the role of practitioner, consultant, educator and advocate. The RN(EC) practices autonomously, offering the full scope of primary health care nurse practitioner practice. He/she functions as a member of the interdisciplinary care team in the development, implementation and evaluation of the resident’s plan of care.

The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with the Medical Director, other physicians and community services and agencies in the provision of primary health care.

The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with the Directors of Care and multi-disciplinary teams in the provision and advancement of nursing services, in the development, implementation and evaluation of the Nursing department.
