Join the Timmins and District Hospital as a Nurse Practitioner in the Regional Eating Disorders Program, focusing on outpatient mental health. Engage in advanced assessments and collaborative treatment for patients with eating disorders.
As part of the interdisciplinary team, you will deliver comprehensive patient-centered care while overseeing management for those diagnosed with eating and metabolic disorders. Your role includes performing independent assessments, ordering diagnostic tests, and collaborating with healthcare providers for effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide assessment and intervention for patients with eating disorders
• Establish therapeutic relationships to support patient needs
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including ECGs
• Monitor medical stability and escalate care when needed
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse Extended Class License in Ontario
