**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

As our **Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Nurse** at Chandler Regional Medical Center, you will take a leadership role in assessing patient/family health problems and resources, and developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive nursing care plans. This position provides professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill patient populations across all ages, from infancy to later life/geriatric, within our dynamic Perioperative department.

Every day you will go over consent forms, answer questions about the procedure, do preoperative assessments, and prepare patients for various surgical procedures. You will serve as a patient advocate through holistic care practices, recognizing and adapting swiftly to changes in patient conditions (e.g., abnormal lab results, vital signs) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
