**UW Medical Center-Northwest** has a leadership opportunity for a Nurse Manager to join our **Pre-Op and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) within Surgical Services** .

**DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION**

This role partners with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care across the perioperative continuum.

The Nurse Manager has 24-hour accountability for clinical operations, patient care delivery, staff management, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and patient experience. This position oversees pre-anesthesia patient preparation and post-anesthesia Phase I and II recovery, ensuring effective patient flow, safe transitions of care, and adherence to evidence-based standards.
