Position Overview
As a Nurse Clinician - Infection Control - Develop and maintain a comprehensive, system-wide infection control program across the settings.
- Educate healthcare staff on infection control protocols, policies, and best practices.
- Design and implement patient education strategies on current infectious disease issues.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on infection control practices.
- Monitor infection patterns, prevalence, and trends through ongoing surveillance.
- Analyse and evaluate infection control data to implement appropriate preventive measures.
- Support compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards through effective infection prevention and control initiatives.
- Promote teamwork and collaboration to strengthen infection control practices within primary care settings.
- Any other ad doc duties as assigned.
