Job Summary:
Provides technical assistance in nuclear medicine by calculating and administering radioactive materials for therapeutic and diagnostic imaging, assists in preparation for examination, obtains blood samples, instructs students and assists in development of new diagnostic procedures. Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with medical staff, staff, students, and patients. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
SPECT imaging experience and basic knowledge of NRC/Agreement State requirements is required.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:Graduate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology is ors degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology preferred.
