Nuclear Technologist

AHS's Cardiovascular Imaging Outpatient Departments currently has an opening for a Nuclear Technologist. Selected candidate will perform Cardiac Nuclear Stress studies in accordance with established departmental protocols and policies. This position works within hours and a department that is based in an off-site imaging centers in and around facilities that are affiliated with Morristown Medical Center/Atlantic Health System as well as other off-site offices that are associated with Physician Aligned practices.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Mixes stock solutions of radiopharmaceutical materials, calculates doses, and administers doses, under direction of physician.
• Calibrates equipment.
• Performs diagnostic studies on patients as prescribed by physician, using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation emitted and to produce image of organ on photographic film.
