The Nuclear Medicine Technologist of the Nuclear Medicine and/or Molecular Imaging & Therapy departments are state and nationally registered professionals who possess the required skills and judgment necessary to obtain quality nuclear medicine studies.
This position is Per Diem status.
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist I will work under the supervision of the Technical Supervisor and the Nuclear Medicine Radiologist to perform routine nuclear medicine procedures.
This includes educating the patient and/or family about the procedure, administering radiopharmaceuticals, positioning patient for accurate and clear images, and providing post-procedure instructions.
The technologist accurately documents all patient information in the appropriate systems.
