The Accountant will support the financial operations of a nonprofit organization, ensuring accurate accounting, compliance with donor and grant restrictions, and timely financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of nonprofit accounting principles, fund accounting, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
+ Maintain and reconcile the General Ledger using fund accounting principles
+ Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and reclasses
+ Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
