Position Overview
Responsible for using tests and equipment outside of a patient's body to determine the health and condition of his or her heart and cardiovascular system
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Performs non-invasive cardiac ultrasound in accordance with established departmental protocols and policies (as per ASE and IAC guidelines)
2. Performs adult echo, TEE and stress echos
3. Performs complete and thorough valve assessments and must be proficient with pedof probe
4. Complies with hospital policies and procedures, attend department meetings and participate in various projects or assignments
Required:
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
Preferred:
+ Graduate of CAAHEP or ABHES Cardiovascular Technology program preferred
