Position Overview
- Minimum qualification: SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Agriculture, Plantation Management, Biotechnology, Plant Science, Agronomy, or related fields.
- Fresh graduates with strong interest in oil palm breeding and research are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with strong field and operational experience may be considered even without formal qualifications.
- Experience in plantation operations, oil palm breeding, nursery management, bunch analysis, or agricultural research is an advantage.
- Familiarity with field data collection, research trial maintenance, and SOP compliance is preferred.
- Knowledge in oil palm breeding, progeny testing, genetic improvement, bunch analysis, and field sampling methods.
- Able to record, organize, and maintain accurate research data with basic computer skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Good communication, teamwork, analytical, and observation skills with ability to work independently.
