Nocturnist - West Virginia academic tied hospital

• 300 bed hospital with 20-bed open ICU
• BC/BE in Internal Medicine required
• Expansion position as facility will have 4 services on nights starting this Summer
• Nocturnist shifts are 6pm to 6 am or 7 pm to 7 am
• Flexible scheduling - most end up doing a week on/week off schedule or similar
• Hourly rate: $206.00 - 13 shifts per month required equals annual income of $385,000
• Bonus rate for shifts 14 and 15 and any shifts over 16 total in a month if interested in doing additional shifts
• If you work 15 shifts per month the annual income is $450,000
• Must be able to do central lines and arterial line placements
• Nights have no rounding duties and average admits of 10 per night
• 3 physicians on overnight - two admit and one does cross-coverage
• Doctors cover all inpatient floors...
