The Warehouse Operative will work with the Warehouse Shift Coordinator in carrying out the daily tasks of the Warehouse department. Warehouse Operative is an essential role in the logistic process to ensure the goods in and dispatch processes are followed and customer orders are fulfilled. This is a Temp to Perm role working a regular night shift Monday-Thursday 6pm-6am.

Essential daily tasks:

• Report every potentially hazardous incident
• Conduct physical inspection of the areas with the Warehouse Shift Coordinator
• Ensure that all areas of the warehouse are tidy and well-maintained, clean as you go.
• Work with Shift Co-ordinator on future load plans in relation to stock and advise Shift Co-ordinator of potential shortages
• Carry out stocktakes and cycle counts
• Discuss each identified deficiency or discrepancy with the Shift Manager before the end of shift
