Ozarks First in Springfield, Missouri, has an immediate opening for a newscast Producer. We are looking for someone who can create compelling, relevant, and interactive news segments that showcase our personalities. We’re looking for a strong communicator and a collaborator. You must be someone who can see the big picture, as well as someone with an eye for details.

Duties/Responsibilities:

+ Select and prioritize stories that provide our viewers with a mix of news, talkers, and sports relevant to the Ozarks.

+ Work with managers to execute our strategy that includes a mix of content from broadcast (traditional), website (fresh/visual), social media (interactive), and CTV (streaming app).

+ Write concise and conversational stories. Pace and energy are critical.

+ Produce error-free work. Must be a stickler for details.

+ Leads during severe weather and breaking news coverage.
