Position Overview

Job Summary:
The New Graduate Registered Nurse is responsible for independently utilizing the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients based on HMNH’s policies, procedures and all regulatory requirements.The New Graduate Registered Nurse must successfully complete New Graduate Program within 6 months which is comprised of both clinical and didactic training.
Licensure and Certification:
Current California RN license
Current BLS provider card
MAB certification
ACLS and PALS required
14 hours of BRN approved pediatric emergency within 4 months of hire required; or Two day Pediatric Emergency Course preferred (not PALS)
Education:
Associate’s degree in Nursing (ASN) required
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
Experience:
Prior acute hospital experience preferred
