The Department of Pathology at the University of Virginia (UVA), Charlottesville, Virginia, seeks applications for an academic Neuropathologist at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the tenure-eligible clinician-investigator track. The successful candidate will have strong skills in diagnostic neuropathology, teaching, and research. Candidates will be expected to have developed a basic and/or translational research program with a focus in neurodegenerative disorders. An important part of the position is acting as a Neuropathology Core Leader for an NIH P30 Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center application.This will include the creation of a neurodegenerative disease brain bank linked to extensive clinical and neuroimaging databases.
