Be a part of a world-class academic health-care system at UChicago Medicine as a Neurodiagnostic Technologist II in the Pediatric Epilepsy Center.
Under indirect supervision, the Neurodiagnostic Technologist II performs standard procedures in an outpatient setting or as a portable study in the ER, ICU, radiology or inpatient units. The Neurodiagnostic Technologist II is responsible for the performance of all neurodiagnostic procedures in accordance the technical standards set forth by the American Society of Neurodiagnostic Technologists (ASET), the American Electroencephalography Society (AEEGS). The Neurodiagnostic Technologist II is required to maintain and improve his/her level of clinical and technical knowledge, including the performance of advanced procedures under direct supervision.
