Knoxville is hiring a Network Engineering Team Lead to oversee a technical team of 5 people responsible for the site enterprise wired and wireless network infrastructure. This is a experienced individual contributor and people leader hybrid role. This individual needs to be technically credible enough to work independently on complex network challenges while also managing the day-to-day operations of their team.
Daily responsibilities include supervising and directing team members, managing task prioritization and escalations, overseeing network projects from design through implementation, coordinating with campus departments and external vendors, and ensuring network reliability, security, and scalability across a large and active campus environment.
