Position Overview
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer Tier 2, to support the Department of Energy and the National Nuclear Security Agency OCIO. The Network Engineer Tier 2 will design, maintain, and optimize secure, scalable network systems while collaborating across teams to ensure performance and reliability.
Responsibilities of the Network Engineer Tier 2 include:
Deploy and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, VPNs, and security devices, to ensure optimal network performance.Monitor and troubleshoot network performance using diagnostic tools, resolving issues and implementing improvements based on best practices.Apply security patches and updates to all network devices to maintain compliance and protect against vulnerabilities.Lead or support network projects, offering technical input and ensuring timely execution aligned with organizational goals.Collaborate across teams to resolve c...
