**Description**

**Required Education and Experience:**

+ Bachelors degree and 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on enterprise networking; four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree.
+ Hands-on SSR expertise, including session failover configurations and performance optimization in high-availability systems.
+ Proficiency with state replication for firewalls, load balancers, and routers.
+ Experience with HSRP, VRRP, SSO (Cisco), or other redundancy protocols.
+ Advanced understanding of networking protocols and technologies:
+ DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VPN, and NAT/PAT.
+ In-depth experience configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless solutions from leading vendors ( **Cisco, Juniper, F5, Palo Alto, or similar** ).
+ Expertise with **Ansible** for automation and orchestration, including:
+ Writing custom playbooks and roles.
