Key Responsibilities

+ Serve as the primary owner of the network environment , acting as the go-to resource for all network-related issues and initiatives

+ Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of LAN, WAN, wireless, and VPN infrastructure in a Cisco-based environment

+ Own and manage network security architecture , including firewalls, ACLs, VPNs, and segmentation strategies

+ Lead the replacement and modernization of end-of-life firewall systems

+ Assess and improve current architecture, including transition from flat Layer 2 design to segmented networks

+ Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues affecting performance and availability across distributed sites

+ Drive network monitoring, alerting, and incident response improvements using tools such as LogicMonitor (or equivalent)
