REPORTS TO: Director of Network Operations



POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Network Administrator resides in the Office of Technology within the Division of Data, Information, and Systems Improvement of the Boston Public Schools, reporting to the Director of Network Operations. The Network Administrator is responsible for providing foundational network support across BPS schools and administrative sites, performing routine operational tasks, and contributing to a stable, reliable, and secure network infrastructure that supports teaching and learning.


The position responsibilities include hands-on network infrastructure support, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network systems, while maintaining flexibility to shift among operational priorities and urgent incidents when called upon.
