Position Overview
*Responsibilities:* - Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history review, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests (e.g., renal function tests, imaging, biopsy results). - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic kidney diseases. - Manage all aspects of dialysis care, including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and patient safety standards. - Lead and participate in kidney transplant evaluation processes, including pre-transplant assessments, donor compatibility testing, and coordination with transplant teams. - Provide post-transplant follow-up care, monitoring for rejection, infection, and medication side effects. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including transplant surgeons, nephrology nurses, dietitians, social workers, and pharmacists. - Stay current with advancements in nephrology and transplant medicine, integrating evidence-based ...
