**POSITION HIGHLIGHTS**

**Patient Volume:**

+ Average daily census of **6–9 patients** , allowing for high-quality, focused neonatal care.

**Care Model & Team Structure:**

+ Work in a **collaborative care model** with **1 Neonatologist (MD) and 1 NNP on-site during the day** .
+ Overnight support includes **MD available via phone** , providing strong physician backup.

**Role Responsibilities:**

+ Provide comprehensive care to neonates in the **NICU** , including:
+ Daily rounding and patient assessments
+ Admissions and discharges
+ Ongoing management of high-acuity infants
+ Family education and care coordination
+ Participate in a **team-based approach** to ensure safe, evidence-based neonatal care.

**Schedule & Shifts:**

+ **24-hour shifts** (schedule details to be discussed with leadership).
+ Opportunities for additional shifts based on department needs.
