Under limited supervision, is responsible for the clinical management of assigned neonates in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit and Intermediate Care Nursery, and is responsible, under supervision, for stand-by at risk deliveries and neonatal resuscitation in the Labor and Delivery Room.

Education

Certified Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant

Experience

 At least two years of experience in a Level III or Level IV NICU

Skills

·A high level of analytical ability is required in order to assess patients and implement appropriate intervention.

·Substantial interpersonal and verbal communication skills required to effectively interact with staff, physicians, patients, and family members.
