PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Advanced Rigger is responsible for preparation, installation and operation of rigging gear and equipment such as slings, chokers chains, hoists and come alongs; prepares components for lifting by cranes, forklift or similar operated lifting equipment. This position requires travel.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Receives and understands instructions and prints regarding work assignment.Inspects work site to determine presence of obstructions with respect to proper installation and operation of rigging gear and equipment including ground conditions, load attachment points, overhead and perimeter clearances and “line of fire” clearances and plans sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other construction workers.Inspects rigging gear and equipment for suitability for use prior to performing any lifting, lowering...
