Native-speaking English Teacher – EDBNET Grant (2026/27 School Year)

Job Description

Requirements:

• a native-speaker of English or possess native-speaker English competence
• a holder of HKID or a valid working visa
• a Bachelor's degree in any subject from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent
• a Post-graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or a TEFL / TESL qualification at certificate level, or equivalent
• valid IELTS results (overall band score of 7.5 or above, with Speaking band score of 7.5 or above)
• Passed the Sexual Conviction Record Check (SCRC)
• Passed in the Basic Law and National Security Law Test
• Meets all the appointment and qualification requirements of NETs in primary schools set by EDB.

Main Duties:

• Conduct regular English lessons
• Design teaching materials and a school-based curriculum
