Salary: $18.00 per hour. Overtime pay at 1.5 times employee’s regular rate of pay after 40 hours. May be required to work some weekends.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 30 hours per week.

Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Education: Secondary School plus CPR or First Aid

Responsibilities

Supervise & care for children before and after school.

Plan, prepare and serve meals.

Light housekeeping, laundry, oversee children’s activities such as meals, play time, rest periods, as instructed by employer.

Get children ready for school, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.

Instruct children in personal hygiene; tend to the emotional well-being of children and support social development.

Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
