Certificated Vacancy

The West Seneca Central School District has a vacancy for a part-time, temporary Music teacher at West Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will provide vocal music instruction to students at the elementary school grade levels. Work days may be scheduled for half and/or full days. The successful candidate will be offered work as a preferred building substitute when not assigned to teaching Music classes.

Experience and Skills Preferred:


+ Knowledge of teaching music in a differentiated format.

+ Experience with a variety of classroom management skills and behavior intervention programs.

+ Knowledge of program modifications, testing accommodations and supplementary aides.

+ Strong computer and communication skills.

+ Ability to collaborate and work with other members of the department.

+ Ability to demonstrate and perform with proper vocal technique.
