Summary About the Position: The incumbent will be assigned to the 406th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, Supply and Services Division, at Fort AP Hill, VA. This position is a TERM Not to Exceed 13 months position. It is time-limited and may be extended up to a maximum of eight years. Responsibilities Uses automated equipment and systems as required for processing transactions and performing technical research. Ensures safe shipment, receipt, storage and movement of ammunition and explosives during storage, Inter Depot Transfers (IDT), issues, turn-ins and re-warehousing operations as directed by internal procedures. Prepares items for shipment to other locations. Advises users effectively on proper ammunition handling procedures. Inspects ammunition and components using appropriate Ammunition Surveillance Procedures.
