The MDT Coordinator is responsible for coordinating efforts between Law Enforcement (NYPD), Child Protective Services (ACS), Prosecution (DA Offices and Corporation Counsel) Medical Personnel (Child Abuse Pediatricians and Nurse Practitioners) and Mental Health/Victim Advocacy (Safe Horizon) to provide a comprehensive multi-agency response to child victims of alleged sexual and/or severe physical abuse and
their impacted family members. Additionally, this position is responsible for monitoring the progress and outcome of all cases throughout a family’s involvement with the CAC. Reporting directly to the CAC Senior Director, the MDT Coordinator is the only position in the entire CAC
