Position Summary
The MRI Technologist produces high quality MRI images and operates the equipment associated with the Imaging Department. Ability to work closely with physicians to safely provide administration of contrast agent during appropriate MRI procedures. Ensures that all aspects of patient record are processed properly to initiate results in a timely manner.
Essential Job Functions/Accountabilities
Reviews radiology requisition and physician order where appropriate to ensure proper procedure is performed. Collects and ensures previous pertinent exams are available for Radiologist's review. Communicates wet/stat reading results to physician offices or referring institutes.
