MRI Technologist 2 - Radiology MRI

Under designated section leader, this position is accountable for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures, which produce high quality diagnostic films. Works on a level not requiring constant supervision. Performs a variety of procedures for MRI, including, but not limited to, basic portable, fluoroscopy, extremity and chest x-rays, basic computer skills, biopsies, trauma alerts, core MRI protocols, MRI advanced level recons, neurovascular MRA's, IV skills, Q.A. maintenance, sterile contrast studies acquired by the administration of radio-frequency waves and magnetic energy to human for therapeutic or research purposes. Assists manager with the implementation of policy and procedures, interdepartmental committee involvement and is a preceptor for the department.
