The Motorpool Officer-In-Charge is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the Motorpool Section ensuring optimum work performance and available workforce to meet the services requirement.
He is in charge of administering motorpool equipment and trucking needs of the clients ensuring the department objectives and the clients objective are met.
He is in charge of training, mentoring and evaluating personnel under his area of responsibilities, including maintenance and trucking services.
Review odometer readings, trip logs, and known mileage to ensure accuracy of trip logs and to detect any unauthorized use of equipment.
Prepares and verifies monthly reports on usage of rented heavy equipment.
Prepares and submits reports on mileage, cost of parts, fuel, and repairs.
Ensures that all equipment and vehicles are properly insured at all times.
