 We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced MOT Tester / Mechanic at the Waste and Environmental Operations in Blackpool.
 
  About the company
  Our client is a wholly owned company of the Council, providing Environmental Operations which include Waste collection, Street cleaning, grounds and Park maintenance.
 
  About the role
  As a MOT Tester / Mechanic you will carry out the routine repair, inspections and maintenance for all Vehicle types, prepare all Vehicle types for MOT, repair and maintain trade specific or specialised power tools, plant and equipment and your responsibilities will include:
 Resolving straightforward problems and modify work daily to suit without waiting for instruction
 Ensure issues that have been identified with vehicles, HGV’s are, where applicable, repaired ready for use without reference to supervisor, to DVSA standards
