Description
An established mortgage organization is seeking an experienced Senior Mortgage Loan Underwriter to join its team. This role is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and underwriting residential mortgage loan applications to ensure compliance with agency, investor, and regulatory guidelines.

The ideal candidate is a strong independent decision-maker with deep knowledge of government and conventional underwriting standards and the ability to manage a high-volume pipeline in a deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

+ Underwrite residential mortgage loan files in accordance with FHA, VA, USDA, FNMA, FHLMC, and internal guidelines

+ Independently assess borrower risk, including income, assets, credit, and collateral

+ Review loan documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements (TRID, RESPA, CFPB)
