**Job Summary and Qualifications**

The Monitor Technician PRN interprets cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias, maintains telemetry supplies and maintains patient records according to hospital policy.

+ You will perform continuous observation of cardiac telemetry monitors according to hospital policies and procedures. Interprets, documents, and reports data from telemetry monitor systems.
+ Utilize proper leads and lead placement unless otherwise indicated. Assist in optimal lead placement when designated leads are not the most appropriate lead.
+ You will prepare, run, document, and analyze rhythm strips on all patients according to unit standards.
