Job Description & Requirements
Responsibilities: Assembly, fitting, basic tool room machining, mould development, implementing process improvements for tool manufacturing and liaise with machining technician for process planning and scheduling of project. Discuss tooling drawing with Designer to ensure tooling design is meeting customer product requirement. Assemble, fitting and troubleshooting of tooling related issue. Fabricate tooling components and inserts according to tooling drawing. Liaise with Production Engineer for execution/planning on mould testing. Ensure tool manufacturing and trial meeting planned schedule. Initiate corrective action if first article or parts not meeting specification. Use various measuring devices including micrometers, calipers, optical measuring machine, gauges and all inspection equipment Ensure tool room facilities and equipment are properly maintained and used.
