Position Overview
The Special Education Teacher, under the supervision of the Special Education Program Administrator, delivers high-quality instructional and support services to students in kindergarten through 12th grade. This role emphasizes collaboration, with a strong focus on contributing to team-based planning and execution of student programs, including specialized instruction, academic support, and consultation with general education staff.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelorβs degree from an accredited institution (preferred)
+ Valid state teaching certification in accordance with state and district requirements
+ Minimum of one year of teaching experience (preferred)
+ State certifications in Elementary, Secondary, or Special Education (preferred)
+ LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist) endorsement or equivalent (preferred)
+ Adherence to all professional standards of practice
+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)
