Overview

Equans is looking for a Mobile Technical Operative (Mechanical) for the HMCTS contract at Manchester Civil Justice Centre. The role is permanent, full‑time (40 hrs per week) and offers a competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical plant, following CAFM and site task schedules.
• Repair plant faults and defects promptly to maintain serviceability.
• Provide parts lists, estimated time‑scales and ensure spares availability.
• Complete and submit all relevant paperwork/CAFM for PPM, reactive and breakdown works.
• Prepare and use Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks.
• Work safely, wearing uniform and PPE at all times; maintain a safe, healthy workplace.
• Maintain up‑to‑date plant logs; keep plant rooms clean and tidy.
