Mixer Driver – Job Description



Functional Summary

Reporting to the Job Superintendent, the Mixer Driver is responsible for safely operating a concrete mixer truck at the Whitefish Stage location.



Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Mixer Driver include, but are not limited to:

Operations


+ Safe and efficient operation of concrete trucks and dump trucks as assigned.

+ Haul concrete or gravel as directed.

+ Deliver concrete at desired slump.

+ Ensure assigned truck is greased weekly.

+ Identify mechanical failures and future preventive maintenance needs of assigned truck and documenting this information on daily timecard.

+ Understand and follow directions from supervisors.

+ Communicate effectively with mechanics and supervisors to ensure commercial vehicle is safe for travel.
