About the role

Thiess currently has an opportunity for a Mining Estimator to join the Estimating team in our Australia New Work team. This role is based at the Thiess Office in West Perth and reports to the Principal Estimator.
As our next Mining Estimator, you will act as a conduit between existing and new customers, providing timely, accurate and innovative estimates that deliver the blueprint for operational and financial success.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with Regional General Managers and Project Development Managers to ensure the estimating strategy aligns with our clients’ requirements. You will also work alongside Mine Planning Engineers to ensure the mine plan is optimised for the recommended installed capacity.
Additionally, you will support Asset Estimators to value and optimise fleet selection requirements and cost inputs. You will analyse actual fixed and variable costs for use in tender pricing and apply market benchmarks to ...
