The Mine Planning Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining short to medium-term (0–12 month) mine plans and schedules to support safe and efficient production. The role focuses on optimizing open pit operations, improving planning accuracy, and supporting operational performance through data-driven decision-making.
The incumbent will also provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Supports site-based open pit mining operations
Responsible for short-term planning, scheduling, and reporting deliverables
Supervises 2 direct reports plus contractors
Works closely with operations, geology, geotechnical, and corporate teams
Primarily site-based with collaboration across departments
