Mine Director (Production / Planning / Operations) South America

We are looking for a Mine Director responsible for the overall leadership, management, coordination, and performance of mining and mineral processing operations. This role oversees mining production, processing plant operations, operational planning, technical departments, workforce management, and operational compliance to ensure safe, efficient, and cost‑effective execution of mining activities.

Job Description

Responsibilities include:

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for mining and mineral processing operations.
• Manage and coordinate the activities of operational departments, technical units, and production teams to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted mining operations.
• Oversee open pit mining activities, including ore production.
• Ensure effective collaboration between Mining, Geology, Processing Plant, Laboratory, Maintenanc...
