Purpose of the role

To ensure maximum uptime of production equipment by maintaining all machinery to required standards and responding effectively to production needs and equipment failures. The role is responsible for installing, inspecting, adjusting, and repairing equipment in compliance with safety regulations.

Key Job Roles and Responsibilities

Maintenance and Repairs

• Perform fault finding and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Execute preventative maintenance according to planned schedules.
• Reduce downtime through effective maintenance practices.
• Maintain reliability and integrity of machine control and safety systems.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns (electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration).

Installation and Projects

• Install, commission, and maintain machinery and equipment.
• Assist with maintenance projects and equipment upgrades.
