**Job Description:**


* Sets up and operates all types of milling machines on diversified production, experimental or tool work wherein methods must be devised to machine parts.


* Devises methods to clamp, block and hold work.


* Selects speeds, feeds and tools.


* Selects reference points.


* Uses dividing heads.


* Uses boring head with special tools and cutters.


* Work involves all types of milling operations, including facing and milling, dovetailing, boring, reaming, gear work, etc.


* Uses a wide variety of attachments including slotting equipment, grinding wheels and grinding attachments.


* Frequently works without fixtures.


* Works to close tolerances.
