**Job Description**

Primary care & management of women’s health, including obstetric & gynecological care. Both low risk and high-risk pregnancies are managed as outlined within practice guidelines.
Developing and supporting excellence in the clinical practice and patient care.
Maintaining the Maternal Child Health Services mission, philosophy, and policies as well as the standards and practices of the Medical Center.

**Qualifications**

+ Master?s degree in nursing preferred.
+ Demonstrate clinical experience related to obstetrics and the care of women & children.
+ Evidence of being a midwife/certified nurse-midwife according to the requirements of the American College of Nurse-midwives & credentialed by the NYS Education Department.Eligible to practice Professional Midwifery under Article 140 of the Education Act.Evidence of completion of a Pharmacology course, passing the examination & receiving authorization to issue prescriptions pursuant to ...
