Middle School Latin Teacher (Grades 6–8)

Miami Arts Charter School, a nationally recognized public charter school for the fine and performing arts, is seeking a Latin teacher for our middle school program (grades 6–8).

As part of our transition to a classical education model, this role focuses on building a strong foundation in Latin, with an emphasis on language structure, vocabulary, and introductory translation.

Responsibilities:

Teach Latin to middle school students

Design engaging, standards-aligned lessons

Support integration of Latin within the classical curriculum

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Latin, Classics, or related field (Master’s preferred)

Florida certification (or eligibility)

Strong content knowledge and a passion for classical education
