General Objectives:
Reporting to the Metallurgical Lab Supervisor, the Metallurgical Technician typically works a 5/4 straight days schedule. The Met Tech performs duties in the Metallurgy lab conducting test work on pad, plant and lab samples. This test work may include, but is not limited to: column tests, bottle rolls, cyanide, caustic and lime titrations, particle size and carbon activity determinations. Additional tasks may include sample collection, sample preparation, accurate, precise data and record keeping and also may include analytical duties in the Assay lab when backfill is required.
