Due to increased demand for our client's products and internal reorganisation, we have an opportunity for a Systems Operator to join our main metal fabrication facility in Bathgate.

This role is key to supporting our team of Fabricator/Welders by ensuring materials are prepared, handled, and processed efficiently within the workshop.

Key Responsibilities

Loading and unloading materials

* Operating a horizontal bandsaw to cut materials to specification

* Selecting, measuring, and preparing materials for fabrication

* Prepping and painting steps, tanks, and associated components

* Mechanical build-up of sub-assemblies

* Checking and preparing steelwork (new and existing) for the paint process

* Storing components safely and maintaining a tidy, organised depot

* Operating forklift trucks (counterbalance and sideloader) as required
